🖥️ Crypto Multi Chart

Up to 9 live Binance candle charts on one screen, each with its own coin, timeframe, EMA, Bollinger, volume and RSI(14), via WebSocket. Not investment advice.

Loading Data: Binance public API and WebSocket (spot USDT)

On a phone the charts stack vertically. Up to 4 is easiest to follow on one screen.

Candles, volume, EMA and Bollinger are drawn live, including the bar still forming. The RSI badge's overbought / oversold label uses the last closed bar; the forming bar's value is shown separately on the right. Change a chart's coin with its coin button and its timeframe with the selector next to it. Settings are saved in this browser, and the copied link opens the same screen.

What this tool does

See live candle charts for several coins on one screen, split into 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9 charts. Each chart has its own coin and timeframe (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1D), with optional EMA 20 and 50, Bollinger Bands (20, 2) and volume, plus an RSI(14) badge. Prices come straight to your browser from the Binance spot USDT market's public API and WebSocket. It opens with BTC, ETH, SOL and XRP on 15-minute candles.

How it is calculated

Each chart loads its last 300 bars once from the public API. After that, a single combined WebSocket stream carries the forming bar for every chart (kline, about every 2 seconds) and the 24-hour ticker (miniTicker, about every second). Two charts with the same coin and timeframe share one data set. Indicators are computed in the browser from real prices: EMA 20 and 50 (exponential moving averages), Bollinger = 20-bar simple average ± 2 standard deviations, RSI 14 (Wilder smoothing). 24h change = current price ÷ price 24 hours ago − 1. The RSI badge's overbought (70 or above), oversold (30 or below) or neutral label uses the last closed bar; the value including the forming bar is shown separately. If the connection drops it reconnects after 1, 2, 4… seconds (up to 30); after three failures in a row it moves to a backup address, and if that fails too it polls every 15 seconds.

Reading the screen, section by section

Top bar: layout, indicators, link, full screen

Layout offers 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9 charts. On a wide screen 4 is a 2×2 grid, 6 is 3×2 and 9 is 3×3; below 1,000px wide 6 and 9 use two columns, and below 700px (phones) every chart stacks in one column. Reducing the layout closes the extra charts but keeps their coin and timeframe, so they come back when you add them again. The Indicators buttons apply to every chart. On the right you see the current feed (Binance WebSocket, backup WebSocket or polling every 15 s) and the time of the last update. Copy link copies an address holding the current set-up, and Full screen fills the display with the chart area (the button is hidden where the browser does not support it).

Chart header: coin, timeframe, expand

The coin button shows the symbol. It opens the top 100 coins by trading value on the Binance spot USDT market with a search box that matches symbols and names. Non-coins such as stablecoins and tokenised stocks are left out. For a coin not in the list, typing its symbol adds a 'Use …USDT' line; if Binance has no such market the chart says it could not load data and offers a Retry button. Expand keeps only that chart and enlarges it; press it again or Esc to return to the split view.

Price line: price, 24h, RSI badge, forming bar

The price is the close of the latest live bar. The 24h change compares it with the price 24 hours ago and updates from the WebSocket 24-hour ticker (about every second). The RSI badge shows the last closed bar's RSI(14) and its zone (70 or above overbought, 30 or below oversold, otherwise neutral), marked 'closed'. Next to it, the forming-bar text shows the open-to-now change of the bar still forming, RSI including that bar, and the time left until it closes (counting down every second). For a moment after a bar closes and before the next bar's first update it reads 'Closed · waiting for next bar'.

Chart: candles, EMA, Bollinger, volume

Each chart holds the last 300 bars and first shows at least the latest 60, fitted to its width. Drag to pan and use the wheel or a pinch to zoom. The yellow line is EMA 20, the blue line EMA 50, the purple lines the Bollinger upper, middle (20-bar average) and lower (± 2 standard deviations) bands, and the bars at the bottom are volume, coloured by up or down candle. Within a bar only the last candle and indicator points change; when a bar closes and the next one starts, a new candle appears. Times are shown in this device's time zone.

Keeping it open

WebSocket data is applied to each chart as it arrives, but drawing is batched to the browser's screen refresh. When the tab is hidden it stops drawing and catches up in one go when you return; if it was hidden for more than a minute it reloads each chart's bars. If the connection drops it reconnects after 1, 2, 4… seconds (up to 30); after three failures in a row it moves to a backup address, and if that fails too it polls every 15 seconds. While polling it retries the WebSocket every 30 seconds up to every 5 minutes and switches back when it works. If the connection is open but nothing arrives for 60 seconds it reconnects, and each reconnect fills in the bars missed meanwhile. If a bar is skipped, that chart reloads its bars.

Things to know

Frequently asked questions

Doesn't 9 charts mean a lot of requests?

Each chart loads 300 bars once, so even 9 charts make 9 requests at a time. After that, one WebSocket connection carries live updates for every chart, and drawing is batched to the browser's screen refresh (requestAnimationFrame).

Are the RSI badge's overbought and oversold labels buy or sell signals?

No. They only name the zone: the last closed bar's RSI(14) at 70 or above is labelled overbought, 30 or below oversold, anything between neutral. In a strong trend RSI can stay in a zone for a long time, and this tool does not recommend any trade.

Where are my settings saved?

The layout, each chart's coin and timeframe, and the indicator switches stay in this browser's storage (localStorage) and are not sent to a server. They are also kept in the address bar as ?l=4&c=BTCUSDT.15m,ETHUSDT.1h, so sharing the link opens the same set-up.

What happens when I switch to another tab?

While the tab is hidden it stops drawing and only keeps receiving data. When you come back it draws everything at once, and if the tab was hidden for more than a minute it reloads each chart's bars to fill any gap.
